Founded in 1900, the Nikkei Sekkei group is an organisational design firm responsible for numerous building and urban design projects in Japan. One standout aspect over the years has been the floor and layout plans the firm has conceived. The designers stress the importance of such plans as a design tool that can be used to explore not only the client’s needs but also what might benefit society.
