The LAMY 2000 has been writing design history since 1966. As a timeless classic, it is still one of the most modern writing instruments today. The body is made of a fibreglass known as Makrolon, accented by the brushed stainless steel trim. The lightweight body contains a traditional piston filler mechanism that can be filled with bottled inks only, and has a large capacity. The pen barrel also features four small window sections above the grip to view the ink inside. The platinum-coated nib is made of 14 carat gold.
