The Lauhtua scarf is made of silk twill in the Apajat pattern. The edges of the scarf are stitched.
The Apajat (foraging) print was inspired by foraging for berries and finding the best secret stashes. Designed by Antti Kekki, the pattern’s map-like network of leaves always leads to a new clearing in the woods full of berries. The composition of leaves and berries cut from paper is a graphic interpretation of a familiar Finnish topic.
